Dr. Kelsey Engelbart graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in May 2021. After receiving her Optometry degree, she went on to complete a 1-year pediatric optometry residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Since starting Optometry school, she has always had a special interest in pediatric care. During clinical rotations, she worked in the Chicago Public Schools and performed vision screenings for the Special Olympics in Illinois. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Ruth A. Trachimowicz, PhD, OD Scholarship and the Dr. Henry J. Luckhardt Memorial Award for her time tutoring in the anatomy lab and exceling in her clinical programs.
Dr. Engelbart was born and raised in Illinois. In her free-time, she enjoys indoor rocking climbing, reading and painting. She and her husband also enjoy exploring the Minnesota parks with their Labradors, Jax and Ollie.
